Tuscan Braised Chicken
   Serves 4Ingredients
1 cut whole fryer chicken (8 pieces)
3 Tablespoons olive oil
3 cloves garlic, crushed
2 shallots, chopped
2 Tablespoons fresh Italian parsley, chopped
1 cup dry white wine
1 cup beef stock
1 jar of Chef Jon’s Pasta & Pizza Sauce
Salt & Pepper
Directions
In a large pan, add 2 tablespoons of olive oil over medium heat. Brown chicken seasoned with salt and pepper in oil for about two minutes a side. Place chicken in a baking dish. In the same pan the chicken was browned in add 1 table spoon of olive oil. Add garlic and shallots to pan. Cook the garlic and shallots try not to brown them. Deglaze pan with white wine. Let reduce by half. Add beef stock and jar of Chef Jon’s Pasta & Pizza sauce. Bring to simmer and pour over chicken. Cover baking dish with foil. Bake at 350 for 50 minutes. After chicken is done cooking place on serving dish and top with fresh Italian parsley. Enjoy with a side of fresh vegetables and or some garlic and oil pasta.
Lasagna Bolognese     Serves 6-8
Ingredients
1 pound box of dry lasagna noodles
2 jars of Chef Jon’s Tuscan Bolognese Sauce
1 pound of ricotta cheese
2 cups of shredded mozzarella cheese
1 cup grated parmesan cheese
1 9x13-inch baking dish
Directions
Bring large pot of water to a boil, season with salt. Boil pasta until done according to the box instructions. Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Cover bottom of pan with layer of noodles. Cover with 1-1/2 cups of Bolognese sauce, 3/4 cup of ricotta cheese and 3 tablespoons of grated cheese. Repeat for three more layers. Cover with foil and bake for 45-50 minutes. Remove from oven and let stand for 10 to 15 minutes to firm up. Enjoy!
